On Thursday 28 January, Stemettes spent a day working with 1,800 girls across the UK at simultaneous events in Manchester, London, Newcastle, Dublin and Edinburgh. At Stemettes, we always enjoy our hackathons and our latest Scripting Hackathon hosted by Skimlinks was no exception. Just over 50 people joined us during the 2 days at their swanky Old Street offices to enjoy the endless supply of food, drinks and JavaScript. The office common space was taken over by beanbags, tablets and girls as we begun each day with the signature Stemettes icebreakers, overview of the day and intro to Skimlinks.
