On 5th June, Stemettes partnered with Standard Chartered for a STEMazing hackathon event focusing on the theme of sustainability, in line with World Environment Day.
The event had a total of 19 attendees and was open to girls and non-binary people over the age of 15. Attendees rated the event 9.3 out of 10 and 100% would attend another Stemettes event.

The hackathon challenged participants to work in teams to identify a sustainability-related issue and design a solution for it. Volunteers from Standard Chartered were on hand to offer their expertise and advice throughout.
