non-binary people two STEMazing events aimed at increasing engagement in the STEM fields and streamlining the attendees towards careers at Siemens Energy.

The panel brought together eight STEM Role Models from Siemens Energy and the Stemettes network to discuss careers options, education choices and what our inspiring panellists do at Siemens Energy. After the panel, selected Stemettes joined the role models in a virtual networking
“I enjoyed being able to ask our own questions regarding A level choices, degrees and engineering as a whole. I didn’t really know what engineering was before the session, but I found out about lots of new types I hadn’t heard of before, which really sparked my interest.”
What did attendees think?
- 100% of attendees felt their awareness of career options in STEM had improved
- 97% of attendees felt their perception of STEM had improved
- 97% of attendees would like to attend another Stemettes event
- Attendees rated the event 9.2 out of 10
“I really enjoyed hearing about other hobbies outside of STEM since that’s not really touched upon. I learnt about the importance of exploring your options and doing work experience before you decide to go on a degree/career.”
