Stemettes hosted a series of online events featuring inspirational talks about STEM at four different schools across the UK: Harris Girls’ Academy East Dulwich, Millburn Academy, North Ormesby Primary Academy, and Rushden Academy. The events were attended by 265 young people and non-binary persons, with 75% saying they want to take part in another Stemette event. On 26 November, the Department for Transport and Stemettes held an online panel discussion with women in aviation to increase awareness of this STEM career path. Seven amazing aviation role models joined in the discussion from industry, entrepreneurship and academia. 2670 young women and non-binary people joined across YouTube, Twitter or Facebook.
