Enjoy, Meet, Try Out @ October Explore

For one day, on the 23rd of October, our Explore programme is back! Join us in London or online where we will focus on exploring STEAM, having fun, and eating great food.

Who can join? 

This event is open to girls, young women and non-binary people aged 5-25. Whether you are set on a STEM career, curious about what STEM looks like, or ready to experience something new, this event is for you. Our events do not require you to have any prior knowledge or skills in any STEM fields.

You can join us in London or online, whichever works best for you!

How will the day go? 

We will kick off the day at 10:00 with a welcome from Stemettes and a keynote speech from our partner, Anglo American, to inspire us for the day ahead. Once we’ve got to know eachother, we will jump into our learning. For younger Stemettes, we will work through exciting hands-on activities with role models. For older Stemettes, we will enjoy STEM talks from women in industry, learning more, and asking our burning questions for our careers. After a delicious (and FREE!) lunch, we will spend half an hour touring the building, followed by a speed-networking session. We will finish the day off with an inspirational panel and exclusive goody bags.
