Stemettes Aviation Summit @ Gatwick

What?

This October, Stemettes invite you to a STEMtastic summit with a STEM education and careers theme supported by DfT!

Stemettes Hybrid Summit Event is an online event that will tap into your creativity and equip you with the skills to help you with your future.

We’ll be focusing on STEM education and careers, helping you to learn more about a possible future in the aviation sector. You’ll also receive a STEMazing goodie bag for taking part.

Hybrid Event

Throughout the day, you’ll be able to interact with role models from Department for Transport and learn about the STEM industry through their knowledge and expertise. The role models will be there to inspire your approach to the ideas you will develop during the day.

Inspiration

We will kick off the day together and then learn from our STEMazing role models during discussions and Q&As. Following that, you’ll join us for Speed Networking, working in groups to speak to our volunteers from DfT.

Who?

UK and International Stemettes.

Young women and non-binary people aged 12-25.

Anyone under the age of 16 will need to be accompanied by a parent or a guardian to attend this event.

When?

Thursday 27 October 2022, 10:00-13:45 BST.

Where?

Hybrid! Online and in person within the Gatwick area(full details will be provided once a ticket is issued).

If you are travelling by car please let us know your license plate in the application form.

If you are travelling to Gatwick by train, there will be a free shuttle bus for folks travelling to the event.
