Our Delivery Team is PA’s Centre of Excellence for all things projects, programmes and portfolio management. Joining as a placement student will give you the chance to experience the full spectrum of delivery focused expertise, from highly complex business transformation to large scale infrastructure and engineering projects…

No two days are the same. You could be researching our latest project and delivering your findings, visiting a client with a consulting team and representing the firm, or furthering your development by undertaking APM-certified training — guided and mentored by one of our experts.  You will be fully integrated in our Delivery community and have the opportunity to learn about all the sectors we work within across the capability: Health & Life Sciences, Energy & Utilities and Defence & Security, to name a few.

During your months as an Industrial Placement at PA, you’ll learn some of what it takes to be a top-notch consultant. You’ll be coached and guided by experts and have countless opportunities to broaden your experience, undertaking client-facing roles on challenging projects and programmes.  You will also have the opportunity to get involved on a breadth of internal activities at PA, for example, developing community and engagement initiatives, writing thought leadership, or working on business development activities.

Whatever you work on, you’ll be part of the team and free to build your networks, both here at PA and far beyond.

Qualifications

  • You’ll be on track to gain a degree – We have no specific prerequisites in terms of degree grade or specialism. Graduating in 2027

This role is open to undergraduates with an industrial placement within their course structure.  If you intend to return to university after the internship to complete an MSc, you will also be eligible for this position. 

  • If you are offered a graduate role following your year with us you will join our 18-month Graduate Development Scheme in Business Transformation. In this scheme you’ll have the opportunity to rotate through three of our capability teams, gaining diverse skills and experiences that will serve as the foundation for your consulting career. Available rotations include: Agile, Complex Systems, Delivery, Operating Model, Operations and Improvements, People and Change, Sourcing, IT Strategy and Corporate Services  
  • We work flexibly at PA, but your work base will be our London Victoria office
  • Full time
  • This role will start between July 2025-July 2026 and be for 12 months. We will confirm exact start date at offer stage
  • Salary:  £25,643
