Who is Dr. Ronx?

Dr Ronx Ikharia, often known as Dr Ronx, wears many hats, but their main role is an A&E doctor. On top of this, they also present on TV and advocate as a queer, black, intersectional feminist.

 

From Struggles to Success

Dr Ronx didn’t have an easy path to success. Growing up in London, they faced a lot of challenges. They left home as a teenager and had to work hard to self-fund their way through medical school by working different jobs. But their tough times didn’t stop them, instead, they motivated them to work even harder. Eventually, they graduated from Kings College Medical School in 2011.

 

A Doctor with a Difference

What makes Dr Ronx stand out is their commitment to breaking stereotypes. They show that you don’t have to fit into a mould to be successful. Whether it’s through their bold fashion choices or their openness about being non-binary, Dr Ronx is all about showing that diversity is strength. In fact, they live by the motto “You cannot be, what you do not see”.

They also use their platform to inspire and educate young people. Dr. Ronx has appeared on several TV shows, including “The Unshockable Dr. Ronx” on BBC Three and CBBC’s “Operation Ouch”. Their goal is to make medicine more accessible and less intimidating, especially for teenagers.
