About The Role

• Stemette Futures is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Schools Liaison Manager to lead our engagement efforts within school networks.
• This position will play a pivotal role in fostering partnerships with schools, facilitating participation in our STEAM-focused activities, and ensuring the growth of an engaged community of teachers and career leaders.
• This is a manager-level position that requires exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and a passion for promoting STEAM education among young learners.

Person Specification

• Proven experience in a position related to education outreach, partnership development, or programme management.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage others.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage and build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
• A demonstrated passion for STEAM education and a commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion within STEAM.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute plans to achieve programme goals.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with experience in monitoring and evaluating programme success.
• Flexibility to travel occasionally and work outside regular office hours, as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schools Engagement & Advocacy: Build strong relationships with schools and educators to advocate for Stemettes’ activities and communicate their impact on STEAM pathways.
  • Strategic Planning & Expansion: Create strategic plans to expand programme reach and effectiveness in line with the charity’s mission.
  • Team Management: Direct two logistics staff members and oversee Workshop Stemettes (facilitators and host contractors).
  • Event & Resource Coordination: Oversee event logistics and manage allocated programme budgets and resources.
  • Monitoring & Evaluation: Set up tracking metrics to monitor programme performance and deliver regular updates.
  • Partnership Development: Identify and nurture strategic partnerships with key stakeholders to boost programme reach.
