All About Healthcare Careers
The term ‘healthcare’ encompasses many different careers. There will be some you will have most like heard of like paramedic, surgeon or a nurse, but here are three healthcare careers that are slightly less well known.
This week it’s Healthcare Science Week #HCSWeek2022 where we celebrate and raise awareness for the many careers in healthcare science. In this issue, we have 2 role models from the science field; Faith Osier, an award-winning immunologist, and Alex Sterling, a chemistry doctorate studying bioluminescence.
We also heard from Anastasia, a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Forensic Genetics in February Explore 2022 who told us all about the DNA forensic experts look for and we’ve pulled together some new, interesting healthcare science careers you might have not heard of before but are definitely worth learning more about.
