Sakshi Kulshreshtha: Advice to My Younger Self

Advice

Have you ever wondered what a successful woman in STEM would say to her younger self? Find out from Sakshi, who works as the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) lead in the Information security team at NewDay.

Ask Questions

Never be afraid to ask questions, even if you don’t understand something right away. It’s totally okay to be curious and seek answers. Curiosity is your superpower! The more questions you ask, the more you’ll learn and grow. Remember, every expert was once a beginner who asked a lot of questions.

Be Yourself

It’s easy to feel pressured to fit in with others, but the most important thing is to stay true to who you are. Embrace your unique qualities and don’t change yourself just to please others. Authenticity is powerful, and being yourself will attract the right people and opportunities into your life.

Be Kind

Kindness is one of the most important traits you can have. Always be kind to others, and just as importantly, be kind to yourself. Treat yourself with the same compassion and understanding that you would offer a friend. Kindness creates a positive ripple effect, making the world a better place for everyone.
