Cyber security careers are complex. Many roles are within banks, retailers and government organisations. On the job, you safeguard an organization’s files and network, install firewalls, create security plans and more. If a breach occurs, you’ll be responsible for identifying the problem and finding a solution.
Types of careers under cybersecurity:
- Security Architect. A Security Architect takes on an important role in an IT department. They design systems, manage employees and evolve the security needed for the organisation.
- Source Code Auditor. A Source Code Auditor reviews source code to discover any potential security weaknesses, bugs, or violations of programming standards.
- Cryptographer. Ciphers, algorithms and security systems enter into code by Cryptographers. They are in control of those codes and protect them from cyber hackers.
- Security Analyst. A Security Analyst handles the digital security of the company. They analyse the security policies and protocols and do a thorough audit to determine any weaknesses in the system.
