We’ve compiled an ever-growing list of STEM resources for all ages to try at home. Since we have gone into lockdown, so many STEM activities to try at home have been published. Imperial White City Campus >>
Ages: 4-11 years old
The Invention Rooms may be shut for a while, but Imperial are still committed to delivering great science activities to do with the family at home. Some will be resources they’ve made themselves, and some are from their festival partners. They send out updated activities every week via their community e-newsletter.

ExpeRimental Live >>

The Royal Institution have been working to launch ExpeRimental Live. A 15-20min science session on Facebook live followed by Q&A. Every Thurs at 2 pm.

Messing Up the Web >>

There are plenty of ways to help your kids learn the basics of HTML. This is a micro-introduction that lets kids start playing and experimenting at the same time that they’re learning how the web works.

Women Who Code >>
Ages: All ages
Women Who Code have pulled together 160 free coding resources for all levels of developers to try, from beginners through to experts. Give it a go!

Wakelet >>
Ages: 5-18 years olds
For 5-12 year olds, have a got at their STEAM activities. Have a got at Minecraft and Make Code as well as 3D design. For 13-18 year olds have a go at their digital skills activities, including Python and LinkedIn.

Take a look at this YouTube series to get to grips with all the tools on Office365 including Powerpoint, Microsoft Word, OneDive and Microsoft Teams.

European Space Agency >>

ESA Education is launching Expedition: Home, a one-stop website for kids and parents to do fun space-based activities and keep learning while at home.

SoapBox youth centre is still working and supporting young people during this period of Lockdown. From youth worker drop-ins, advice sessions, our digital, media & tech programmes, music events, debates and much more.

Science With Bexy >>
Ages: 11-16 year olds
I want to be that relatable Scientist and role model for students that find STEM subjects daunting. The Physics with Bexy episodes will be released every Monday at 11am, hopefully brightening up your start to the week.
