Stemettes teamed up with G-Research on the 25th of October to run a hackathon with 50 girls. Half the group made a website and embedded a chatbot which they also built themselves. The other group used Scratch to build their chatbots.
Our attendees stated their favourite part of the event was ‘creating an entire project from scratch’.

One of the attendees shared that they loved ‘learning new tags and how it finally came together at the end’. Another attendee shared ‘I wish we could have longer sessions. I love how the teachers were women because they inspired me very much.’
