Meet the Stemettes @ The Linnean Society

On 11th March, Stemettes hosted a panel discussion with the Linnean Society to celebrate some of the inspiring women across the field of Nature. The panel consisted of a range of professionals ranging from conservationists and museum curators to science communicators.

They shared their education and career paths and their unique experiences in the Science and Nature industries. It was followed by a networking session with Stemettes able to ask questions to gain further insight into the panel’s experiences and the Linnean Society.

 

 

The panel was streamed across Facebook, YouTube and Twitter, with 525 live views. What did attendees think?

  • 100% of attendees felt their awareness of STEM career options had improved
  • 89% of attendees felt their STEM network had improved
  • 100% of attendees felt their knowledge of STEM had improved

 

“My favourite part was when we could join the breakout room in the networking and ask questions and find out more information about the STEMazing inspiring role models!”
