STEM Goals @ G-Research

On 22nd April Stemettes teamed up with G-Research for for an online event with Laurus Cheadle Hulme School. The event featured inspiring role models in ICT and an activity getting participants to build a finance app.

The event was attended by 54 young women and non-binary people.

 

What did attendees think?

  • 85% reported an increase in knowledge about STEM
  • 83% felt their understanding of career options in STEM has improved
  • 94% would attend another Stemettes event

 

“I enjoyed the app-making that we did and I know more about the different career paths I can take in STEM”

 

Participants said their favourite parts of the event were designing an app and learning about STEM careers.
