STEM Goals @ ITV

Stemettes partnered with ITV on June 20th. We introduced a range of STEM activities to an enthusiastic group of young women. Later on in the day, the girls put their programming skills to the test to create a website. Their websites were reviewed by ITV’s judges. Prizes were awarded to each winner by ITV.

 

 

In terms of impact…

  • Attendees rated the day 9 out of 10
  • 81% had increased their knowledge of STEM careers
  • 81% had increased their STEM awareness
  • 79% had an increased positive perception of STEM
