We’d like to invite individuals to seek action to build a better STEAM industry for the future.
We’ll be starting the event with a talk about the Equity Compass led by our CEO & Co-Founder Dr Anne-Marie Imafidon. The Equity Compass guides our design and delivery across all of our activities to ensure we provide the best and most equitable experience to our young people. Being equitable helps us adopt a social justice mindset that serves the whole community rather than individuals. Our approach advocates for differential treatment of people according to need, while also recognising and valuing differences between people.
This will be followed by a curated group discussion on how equitable practice affects your business, for example, in your hiring practices, and how to implement equity in the workplace.
We will close the event with free lunch and the chance to network with other attendees. This event will be a great opportunity to network with like-minded industry professionals and inform your continued professional development.
