Stemettes Sustainability Hack @ H&M is an online two-day event that will tap into your creativity and equip you with the skills to imagine a more sustainable fashion future.
You’ll work in teams with your peers to design a product or business solution to create sustainable impact within the fashion industry.
Some ideas to consider:
Throughout the weekend, you’ll be able to interact with industry role models and learn about STEM through their knowledge and expertise. The role models will be there to inspire your approach to the ideas you will develop during the hack.
We will kick off the weekend together then work in smaller groups on some STEMtastic business and product ideas.
We will take a break for lunch and finish the day off with a special Stemettes showcase on the 27th March, during which you will present your ideas to a panel of judges – we will be giving away some exciting prizes to the winning groups and goodie bags to all participants!
This event is aimed at young women and non-binary people aged 15-19.
For those that do not have access to their own device and/or internet connection, a laptop and data will be provided for the purpose of this event.
