Hosting a #FromRootsToRise event is your opportunity to celebrate the journeys of women and allies in STEAM while raising funds to nurture the next generation. Your event doesn’t need to be big or complex, what matters most is connection, authenticity, and impact. We’ll provide you with a suggested agenda, guidance on how to host your event, downloadable resources, a video keynote from our CEO, and you can even request one of our wonderful Stemettes Speakers to host your event.
Despite high interest in STEM and STEAM, girls, young women, and non-binary individuals are facing a belonging gap built on systemic erasure and a lack of relatable role models. These barriers force many to opt out before they even begin. Our International Women’s Day 2026 theme, ‘From Roots to Rise,’ is the moment to bridge this divide.
