When you sign up, you’re doing more than just joining a programme – you’re getting a mentor who will guide you in unlocking your full potential

Why should I join?

✅ Personal mentoring sessions: online or in-person

✅ Make friends with like-minded peers

✅ Improve career knowledge

✅ Develop professional skills

My mentor gave me confidence, teaching me to achieve both short and long term goals; resilience, belief and passion. It was really nice to be mentored by someone who had gone through the whole university experience/career change and stress of exams. I truly did learn so much from her.

‘Thank you so much for organising this programme, I have hugely benefited from the meetings with my mentor, and I have also appreciated all of the support I received from the Stemettes team.’

THANK YOU SO MUCH to my mentor, you are an amazing person and I’m so glad I got to know you. Knowing you has given me the importance of self- motivation and I am so thankful to you for every minute of your week that you spent teaching me key skills, encouraging me on my application with medicine and being a valuable resource to me.

Lauryn

This program has been an incredible experience for me as I started with no confidence, I was completely lost and had no motivation after several stepbacks. Since working with my mentor I have completely changed.

For Parents & Guardians

We take the safety of our community and young people very seriously. This programme will ensure safety and safeguarding throughout – via the use of training, DBS checks and a locked secure online platform. Our safeguarding policy is available online. We want our young people to be safe at all times, so this programme will be heavily supervised by our team. We also take inclusion very seriously, so will be providing the necessary materials for any young people who do not have regular access to a device connected to the internet. We want all sorts of young people to be able to build careers in STEM, no matter the resources they have at home.

Our STS programme is proudly powered by GSK, & The PA Foundation.
