Support the Next Generation with Student to Stemette Mentoring

Are you passionate about STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) and eager to make a difference? Stemettes is looking for mentors to inspire and guide the next generation of women and non-binary leaders in STEAM!

Our mentors spare 8 hours over four months to guide mentees in 1:1 sessions, either online or in person. Full training is provided; our team will be there to support you as you support our mentees.

Why Become a Mentor?

 

Network with Peers: Connect with like-minded women and non-binary professionals, sharing experiences and building valuable relationships.

Learn & Grow Together: Mentorship is a two-way street. You’ll have the chance to learn and grow alongside your mentee, gaining fresh perspectives and insights.

Support Stemettes’ Mission: Help us engage, inform, and connect with future STEAM leaders, ensuring a diverse and vibrant community for years to come.

This was my first experience and I am looking forward to keeping my current relationship with my mentee and hopefully be a part of the program again. I believe this helped me build a new approach to people and situations I have not been faced with before.

I think the biggest achievement during the duration was preparing her CV and interview skills so that she was ready for an apprenticeship interview. She managed to get onto the next stage, which I am very proud of her for achieving.
