What?

This November, Stemettes invites you to a physical day full of STEMtastic activities!

Stemettes are back in Wales! Commissioned as part of UNBOXED: Creativity in the UK, we have fun-filled STEAM activities for everyone including 3D modelling, illustration, HTML, and fun with maths for the whole family.

Have a go at animation, motion graphics and architectural design with help from award-winning design studio and production company 59 Productions. Get creative in poetry sessions with The Poetry Society too.

Each activity will be linked to the theme of connectivity and the Universe and will provide participants with the opportunity to learn about STEAM roles and opportunities in their local community.

We’ll also be celebrating the work of our Scratch coding competition winners at the event!

There will also be an evening panel event running on the same day aimed at young people, stakeholders and industry partners.

Who?

This event is aimed at young people aged 7-25.

Anyone under the age of 16 will need to be accompanied by a parent or a guardian to attend this event.

Where?

Within LL57. A full address will be provided once your attendance is confirmed.

When?

Friday 4 Nov 2022, 10:00 am – 19:00 pm GMT.

Younger Stemettes will have the opportunity to partake in a full day of events, or half a day.
