During World War II, the bridge was built by many women who have never been recognised for their contribution, so Stemettes would love you to take part in raising awareness about other women who still aren’t being recognised in schools.
Meet TeamStemette & Co-founder Anne-Marie at 12:00 outside the Southbank Centre for a walk over Waterloo Bridge followed by a free bite to eat and mingling at the nearby Institution of Engineering and Technology.
This event is aimed at girls, young women & non-binary people ages 5 – 25 and their families. Your friends of any gender are welcome. We would love to see you dressed up as your favourite woman in STEM too!
The Stemettes Zine is a curated space tailored specifically to Stemettes but we have plenty of content and updates for you folks too. Sign up to receive the Stemettes newsletter and we’ll keep you updated with the latest from Stemettes HQ including events, activities, resources and fundraising activities.
