Create, Learn, Shine – Manchester

This January, Moonpig and Stemettes invite you to a STEMtastic hybrid hackathon with a theme of connection!

What?

Stemettes Hack @ Moonpig is a hybrid one-day event that will tap into your creativity and equip you with the skills to imagine a better future.

You’ll work in teams with your peers to create a STEAM idea where you can come up with an idea for how to keep people connected.

Throughout the day, you’ll be able to interact with STEM role models from Moonpig and learn about their knowledge and expertise. The role models will be there to inspire your approach to the ideas you will develop during the hack.

We will kick off the day together and then work in smaller groups on some STEMtastic business and product ideas. We will take a break for lunch and finish the day off with a special Stemettes showcase, during which you will present your ideas to a panel of judges – we will be giving away some exciting prizes to the winning groups and goodie bags to all participants!

Who?

Women and non-binary people aged 5-25*.

*Anyone under the age of 16 will need to be accompanied by a parent or a guardian to attend this event.

When?

Saturday 21st January 2023.

10:00 – 17:00 GMT.

Where?

Hybrid! You will be able to join the event online via Microsoft Teams or join us in person in Manchester!
