Launched at the House of Commons on 7th March 2024, titled 'Equitable Curriculum Reform: More and Diverse Female and Non-Binary Representation in The UK GCSE and A-Level Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Curriculum'.

Stemettes was a practice partner on the Institute of Education’s Youth Equity + STEM project from 2017 until 2022. The Equity Compass itself is broken down across 4 areas of impact: Challenging the Status Quo, Working with and Valuing minoritised Communities, Embedding Equity, and Extending Equity.’

EngineeringUK ‘Fit for the Future’

EngineeringUK’s ‘Fit for the Future’ involved an inquiry and 5-point plan to grow and sustain engineering and technology apprenticeships for young people. It was led by Lord Knight and Lord Willets and contributed to by Stemettes.

Stemette Futures work alongside nonprofit Stemettes to inspire, support and encourage girls, young women and non-binary young people into technical fields. Across our programmes, events and platforms we’re showing that STEAM is for all, in a free, fun-filled & food-filled way.
