Education Networks Co-ordinator

About the Education Stemette role

This connecting and rewarding position will see you build up our network of schools, colleges and university departments to ensure that 5-25 year old girls, young women and non-binary people across the UK can access Stemettes activities more easily.  The role is a 2-year full-time contract with the possibility of an extended period of years depending on a successful increase in signups from across our Education network. This role would suit someone who is a good networker, communicator and has an understanding of teachers, schools and academic institutions. They will also be able to host and moderate sessions in education spaces with ease – drawing more into the wider Stemettes network.

 

You’d be working within a fully hybrid organisation located across the UK including freelancers and admins who ensure the smooth running of Stemette Futures interventions and outreach work. You will have no direct reports, but there will be room for you to grow and manage in the future.

Responsibilities include:
Responsible for building and growing our relationships with schools and universities via teachers, career leaders and other education support staff at educational institutions.
Maintain and update our CRM with details of institutions we’re connected to that can benefit from existing and upcoming Stemettes activities - monitoring comms that have gone out to them.
Converting network members to activity signups
Distributing regular communications across the network in the form of a newsletter, flyers and regular calls to the most engaged in the network.
Representing Stemettes at educational events at institutions in our network and beyond - sharing our work, case studies and upcoming activities.
Liaising with our internal teams on activities that feature school groups and university groups to ensure continuity in their relationships with Stemettes.
Troubleshoot across the academic year to help members of our Education network access activities and provide timely feedback on activities attended - supporting our Monitoring & Evaluation efforts.
Co-ordinate the rest of our marketing team to ensure you have the correct set of activities to promote.
Contribute to our overall vision & mission by supporting facilitation of Stemettes activities.

You’ll report directly to our Programmes Lead. This is a full-time position, based in the UK (no remote applicants, please), fixed contract for 2 years with a possible renewal thereafter. Pay range is 27500-30000GBP. Will be reduced by 8% during the probation period. Contract starts July/August 2023 and is Hybrid with in-person attendance at least 3 days each month. After 3 months you’ll be able to opt into our Four Day Work pilot at full pay.
