Incubator Programme Co-ordinator

About the Incubator Stemette role

This challenging and exciting position will see you ensure smooth and impactful delivery of the Stemettes 2023 Entrepreneurship programme for 18-25-year-old women and non-binary people – comprising an intensive summer timetable and follow-on mentoring sessions & workshops. The role is a 12-month full-time contract with the possibility of an extension depending on successful delivery.  This role would suit someone who has worked on a similar incubator or summer programme before, is able to work independently, liaise and communicate across teams for delivery and also connect with youth to troubleshoot and be a trusted point of contact.

 

You’d be working within a fully hybrid organisation located across the UK including freelancers and admins who ensure the smooth running of Stemette Futures interventions and outreach work. You will have no direct reports, but there will be room for you to manage in the first year upon successful completion of the Summer programme.

Responsibilities include:
Ensuring successful delivery of our Entrepreneurship programme - encompassing the intensive Summer sessions, follow-on mentoring and workshops and associated monitoring & evaluation processes.
Managing programme attendees: application process, communication with and their experience on the programme.
Co-ordinating with our partnerships manager to ensure partners volunteers/employees are briefed for events.
Organising and delivering a hybrid series of events across two weeks in August, including being present at the majority of sessions.
Co-ordinating with our marketing team to ensure they can promote the programme and share stories & case studies from the programme.
Organising and co-ordinating follow-on months of mentoring for attendees.
Following finance processes for reporting across the Incubator programme.
Contributing to our overall vision & mission by supporting facilitation of Stemettes interventions.

You’ll report directly to our Partnerships Manager. This is a full-time position, based in the UK (no remote applicants, please), fixed contract for 12 months with a possible extension thereafter. Pay range is 28000-33000GBP. Will be reduced by 8% during the probation period. Contract starts May/June 2023 and is Hybrid with in-person attendance of the programme in London. After 2 months you’ll be able to opt into our Four Day Work pilot at full pay.
