General Assembly Dash is a fun and free online course, designed to teach you the basics of web development through your browser – no downloads necessary.

Once you sign up, you have the opportunity to complete five projects, with full walkthroughs and lessons provided, in order to achieve the final result (e.g. website, blog, game, etc.). This is an interactive tool with simple explanations so that people are able to quickly pick up HTML, CSS and JavaScript. As you continue to complete projects/lessons and pass checkpoints, you are awarded ‘skills’, which act as reminders of what you have learnt already.
