Do you love motorsport? Are you interested in gaining a project management certification used in many different careers? Join our Stemettes Agile Certification Academy in partnership with Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One to ask questions, visit inspiring places, and learn more about project management! Young women and non-binary folks aged 16-25 are able to join us to meet new people, learn from role models and gain a project management certification to boost their cv’s and confidence.
We will kick things off on the 26th of July by spending the day at the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One headquarters in Brackley. Here, we wil enjoy a number of talks from Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One role models and an introduction to LinkedIn. Then, after a break, we will meet graduates and apprentices from Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One and ask all of our questions about their work and career path. Before lunch, we will enjoy a behind-the-scenes exclusive office tour and speed networking session! We will stop to refuel for a free lunch, then we will accelerate into an afternoon of inspiration including an introduction to careers at Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One, a fireside chat with volunteers, a career mapping and moodboarding session and networking. We will finish the day off with an exclusive goody bag and an inspiration for our next two days of learning!
Once our day at the headquarters has left us feeling inspired and motivated, we will spend the day in London to begin working on our Agile fundamentals certification with QA on the 31st of July, jearning what it means to be Agile, and why this mindset is so important. Then, we will complete our Agile training on the 1st of August, with a graduation celebrating everything we have learnt and a professional certification!

Of course – for folks travelling to Brackley for the in-person event, a free coach from and back to Banbury station will be provided.
What do I need to bring?
Nothing – just your STEAM enthusiasm! We have everything ready for you to have a STEMtastic day, and all our events are Free, Fun-Filled and always include Food!
